I am still Nanowrimo'ing - we are three days away from November 30th and the 50,000 word goal. I'm at 44,913 words, so I am quietly confident that I can get the remaining 5,000-odd words down.
Of course, that's not to say that what I've written is useable, editable or even comprehensible. I've shifted around with no transitions, I've introduced characters only to have them fade into the mist, I've changed point of view with no consistency.

I am still NaNoWriMo'ing - today is half way day, Day 15 of 30 so by midnight tonight I should technically be at 25,000 words.I'm at 21,263 and I am not sure I can manage 3,737 words in one day.

Last Saturday, I bopped along to another of Toby's wonderful literary salons. A Short 3-hr Brunch Salon for Busy People, on two brilliant short stories: Charlotte Perkins Gilman's 'The Yellow Wallpaper' and Alice Munro's 'Runaway'.
